Auteurs

Magdaline BAKUME NKONGHO OJONG earned her Ph.D. in General Linguistics from the University of Yaounde 1, Cameroon. She has served as Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of English Language and Literatures of English Expression at H.T.T.C, University of Maroua. She currently serves as Chair of the Department of English Modern Letters at H.T.T.C, University of Buea. Pr. Nkongho has a distinguished academic career, having presented numerous papers and chaired panels at various conferences focused on linguistics. She is co-editor of a book and author of many articles published in esteemed national and international journals. Her area of teaching and research include phonology, African linguistics, sociolinguistics and ELT.

Mbu MARTHA NJUI holds a Ph.D. in General linguistics from the University of Yaoundé 1. Associate Professor at the University of Maroua in Cameroon since 2021, she has published a book and co-authored another, has over 25 scientific publications in both national and international journals. Pr. Mbu also holds other responsibilities such as the president of the Cameroon Association of Linguistics (CAL). Her research interest includes: Theoretical linguistics (notably, morphology and syntax), and Sociolinguistics.
